The Drake House

The Drake House

THE STORY: The Drake House came to us with a request. A single mom and her 5 children who were on the streets and needed a home. Our team of volunteers quickly gathered the funding and resources to renovate an apartment for the young family to live in. The project took several weeks. But we were able to completely renovate the apartment with new floors, cabinets, plumbing and even bedroom furniture.

DONATION: $ $22,261.31 this year, $4,500 last year

North Fulton Homelessness and Hunger Care Program

THE STORY: In 2017 we contributed $20,000 dollars to North Fulton Homelessness and Hunger Care programs. This money served Homestretch, Habitat for Humanity, Drake House, and North Fulton Community Charities.

DONATION: $20,000

North Fulton Lunch Program

North Fulton Lunch Program

THE STORY: Our outreach team found an immediate need for dollars to supplement the North Fulton Lunch program. The $2,000 contribution provided lunches for children during the summer months when school program were not in effect.

Special Pops Tennis

Special Pops Tennis

THE STORY: Special Pops is an organization that offers an adaptive tennis program designed to share the sport of tennis with children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Free of service, these programs are offered to all skill levels, including those who have never played. Year-round tennis instruction, league play, and tournament competition, to name a few. We support them through our volunteers and funding.

DONATION: $ $1,960 this year, $1,655 last year, $2,000 for 2015-2016
